a letter to us girls.

Racism,a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others. Or,a policy, system of government, etc., based upon or fostering such a doctrine; discrimination.

commonly understood as, Hatred or intolerance of another race or other races. in other words DISCRIMINATION. Since the start of the early times, people unconsciously, exhibit this kinds of traits. may it be with races, skin colors or even genders.

In my own opinion, the earliest form of racism or discrimination is not races nor skin color for me its the continuing battle of the sexes. actually what saddens me is that it never seem to end even until now.

common no can deny it. some say its nothing but dont you think its about time we stood up for ourselves. i can point out a lot of examples. in the bible its was eve who got weak and ate the fruit. in china its us girls who has to do the lotus feet, we get sold to different families in order to keep the family business in tacked. us women are not allowed to walk the street of India, we cant do work for ourselves we have to serve and please the guys. so in short we're just decorations and slaves?

i mean come on. even disney had exhibit such discrimination with the movie Mulan. both mulan 1 and mulan 2 showed discrimination of the sexes. in mulan one mulan almost got killed by general shag for havig been disguised as a man to get in to the imperious army. there are two points to be mentioned there. one mulan wanted to save her ill father from the what she knows can be the end of him, two she saved the troupe from their doom yet she was about to get killed by the person she saved. in mulan 2 the three princess are forced to marry the three sons of the other country, though they have fallen in love with other people.

see! women do more sacrifices than men. but why does it have to be that women always have to be second. Crap! women do as much things as men do. in stories women have to be the bitches. we always get left behind.

okay so yeah gender wise men are more capable of doing stuff but come to think of it girls have done so many things that are so much more useful today. in school who are in the top achievers? girls, in arts girls have created stuff that are adored by others. heck eve when it comes to public speaking and talking girls are amazing.

what im tryin to say is that we are in a advancing generation. we slowly grow as a nation and no matter what happens we cat deny that women contributed their fair share if not more in the society.

no one race should be labeled superior, it should be equal. i know its just a useless attempt to free us from the illusion of who is superior who is inferior but then im a girl i can dream cant i?
but seriously free yourselves for this belief. other wise no real unity can be built amongst countries, groups or even families.

i honestly think that because of this inequality the other sub genders are made. well i wouldt but for me as a kid with a lot of thoughts thats what i think.
how about you? what ca you say about the topic? i mean we are all bound to have comments.

the lat airbender

Avatar: The Last Airbender (also known as Avatar: The Legend of Aang)[1] is an American animated television series that aired for three seasons on Nickelodeon from 2005 to 2008. The series was created and produced by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, who served as executive producers along with Aaron Ehasz. Avatar is set in an Asian-influenced world[2] of Chinese martial arts and elemental manipulation. The show drew on elements from traditional Asian culture, blending the styles of anime and US domestic cartoons.[3]

The series follows the adventures of the main protagonist Aang and his friends, who must save the world by defeating the evil Fire Lord and ending the destructive war with the Fire Nation.[4] The pilot episode first aired on February 21, 2005[5] and the series concluded with a widely-praised two-hour television movie on July 19, 2008.[6] The show is obtainable from various sources, including on DVD, the iTunes Store, the Zune Marketplace, the Xbox Live Marketplace, the PlayStation Store, Netflix Instant Play, and on the Nicktoons Network.[7]

Avatar: The Last Airbender was popular with both audiences and critics,[8] garnering 5.6 million viewers on its best-rated showing and receiving high ratings in the Nicktoons lineup, even outside its 6–11-year-old demographic.[4][9] Avatar has been nominated for and won awards from the Annual Annie Awards, the Genesis Awards, the primetime Emmy awards and a Peabody Award among others. The first season's success prompted Nickelodeon to order second[10] and third[11] seasons. In other media, the series has spawned a live-action movie trilogy, the first titled The Last Airbender, directed by M. Night Shyamalan, scaled action figures,[12] a trading card game,[13][14] three video games based on the first,[15] second,[16][17] and third seasons, stuffed animals distributed by Paramount Parks, and two LEGO sets.[18] An art book was also released in mid-2010.[19] Furthermore, the president of Nickelodeon announced on July 21, 2010 that a spin-off mini-series called Avatar: Legend of Korra will premiere in 2011.[20]

naks!!

Walang kupas na galling ni Nakpil.
By: Gia Hilado

Masaya dahil I brought honor to my school.”
